Co-owner and chief "pit boss" John Stage got into the BBQ business in 1983 by sawing a 55-gallon drum in half and selling his barbecue at biker meets, fairs and festivals. Since then, Dinosaur has evolved into three BBQ and Blues joints in NY and is known far and wide by musicians and bikers.
