I'm a fan of Anthony Bourdan for his TV shows (No Reservations) and books (Kitchen Confidential, A Cook's Tour) rather than his cooking (Les Halles). He appeared in NY to sign his new book, "Medium Raw." I'm looking forward to reading why Alinea was "one of the longest, least pleasurable meals of my life," who David Chang hates, and what makes Sandra Lee the "hellspawn of Betty Crocker and Charles Mason." (For us New Yorkers, she could be our next first lady.)
